Seller Responsibilities
To ensure smooth transactions and maintain buyer confidence in the auction marketplace, sellers working with LuXlane Remarketing are responsible for providing accurate and complete vehicle information.
Transparency helps protect both the seller and the buyer while minimizing arbitration risks.
Condition Report Review
Sellers must review the Condition Report (CR) prepared by the auction and ensure the information is accurate.
If any errors or missing damage are identified, the seller must notify LuXlane prior to the sale so corrections can be requested.
Failure to review the CR may result in seller responsibility for post-sale arbitration.
Required Auction Announcements
Certain vehicle conditions must be announced on the auction block. Sellers must notify LuXlane if any of the following are present:
• Check Engine Light (yellow or red)
• Warning lights or fault codes
• Mechanical issues
• Transmission problems
• Suspension faults
• Airbag or safety system warnings
• Structural damage or prior accident repairs
• Title brands or title issues
These disclosures are essential to ensure buyers are properly informed prior to bidding.
Title Responsibility
The seller is responsible for providing a clear and transferable title and confirming that the vehicle can legally be sold.
LuXlane Remarketing does not hold vehicle titles or sale proceeds and acts solely as a third-party remarketing representative.
Arbitration Responsibility
If a vehicle is subject to arbitration due to undisclosed issues or inaccurate information, the seller may be responsible for costs including:
• Arbitration fees
• Transportation costs
• Repair costs or sale cancellation
Communication
Sellers should promptly notify LuXlane of any updates affecting the vehicle prior to sale, including:
• Warning lights appearing after inspection
• Mechanical issues discovered before sale
• Title delays
• Transportation updates
Clear communication ensures the best possible outcome for all parties.
